Stoke was comprehensive.
I think today was better though. Surely the Moyes scrip for today should have been
a) see out the first 20 minutes
b) score
c) get in a HT ahead/level
d) hi them on the break and score 1-2
e) shut up shop and see the game out.
Mission accomplished.

Depends what you mean by 'outplayed'. Huddersfield were naïve and couldn't break us down except for one good move. But we certainly gave a masterclass in how to get a resounding victory with only 35% possession.

No question that it was 0-3 at Liverpool 3 years ago. Everyone was on it that afternoon, even Sakho.
The tragedy of our club is that those performances are so fucking rare.
I'm still basking in the reflected glory of that 7-0 hammering of Dirty Leeds 50 years ago.

The Blackburn game is my favourite game I've been to in many years. Both the team and the supporters were immense.

Blackburn were a Championship team
Liverpool at Anfield 3-0 is one. We beat them 2-0 at home in the league and were again much the better team.
That said I would say the Man Utd game which was the last at Upton Park. 3-2 was deeply flattering for them 4 or 5 -1 would have been about right.
Would also say the Arsenal home game that season but that ended 3-3. But Lanzini did have a header ruled out for offside that was about 5 ft onside and another goal was disallowed after Payet took a ball off a defender who fell over. For which he received a free kick.
